Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) Vice President, George Afriyie has said Gladson Awako deserves to be given a call-up to the Black Stars.
Mr. Afriyie was making the call following Gladson Awako performance for Great Olympics in the ongoing league season.[ads2]
Awako stole the headlines on Saturday for scoring a sumptuous free-kick against Hearts of Oak in week 11 of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium.
On his Facebook page, George Afriyie who was overwhelmed with the performance of the former Phoenix Rising midfielder believes he must be in the next Black Stars squad.[ads3]
“You deserve a Black Stars call-up, after all some of your mates are still part of the squad”, George Afriyie said.
Gladson Awako has been incredible for Great Olympics since joining the club.
