Ghanaian dependable left-back Gideon Mensah has expressed his delight in his inclusion to the Black Stars squad for the second consecutive time for AFCON qualifier against Sudan.
The 23-year old was named among the 23 players that coach CK Akonnor will using to face Sudan in the 2021 AFCON double-header.

Mensah was part of the Ghana squad that played South Africa and Sao Tome & Principe in the 2021 AFCON qualifiers and this will be his second time in the national team.
“Always a great pride to be called up to serve your Nation. One of the most joyous moments in my life so far. Going to give my all”, Mensah posted on his official Facebook page.
He currently play for Belgian side Zulte Waregem on loan from Red Bull Salzburg.
Ghana face Sudan in the 2021 AFCON qualifier on March 27, 2020 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium before the reverse fixture in Omdurman three days later.
