Ghana has been seeded in pot one of the 2022 FIFA World Cup draw which will be held in Cairo later today.

The West African side has been seeded in pot one alongside AFCON champions Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Mali, Egypt, Congo DR, Senegal and Cameroon.
This means that, Ghana will never meet any of the aforesaid countries in the qualifiers.

After his spots on analysis, the astute journalist selected Gabon, Niger and Sudan.
Gabon has been seeded in pot 2 of the draw alongside Burkina Faso, South Africa, Guinea, Cape Verde, Benin, Zambia, Congo and Côte d’Ivoire.
Niger is in pot 3 with Madagascar, Mauritania, Libya, Mozambique, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Central African Republic, Namibia and Guinea-Bissau.

In pot 4, Sudan has been seeded with Malawi, Angola, Togo, Rwanda, Tanzania, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Liberia and Djibouti.
Schedule
Second round : The group phase starts in March 2020 and comes to an end in October 2021.
Third round : The ten group winners will be drawn into five two-legged knockout ties to be played in November 2021
