But Mr. Wilson Arthur believes football in Ghana will lose its credibility thus sponsors will find it difficult to invest in the league when the season is truncated.
“It’s important to complete the season.. Why should the league be truncated when some have developed a strategy and their leagues are ongoing.

“We owe referees and needs to pay them, where will we get the money to pay them when the season is truncated.. Sponsorship for next season too will be difficult if the current season is cancelled due to the Covid-19.
“If the FA cancel the season there will be huge debt to incur. Because we [FA Cup Committee] will be facing a huge debt since MTN will not be paying us if the season is cancelled , it was in the contract”, Wilson Arthur told Kumasi based Fox FM.
