Ghana defender, Gideon Mensah has joined French Ligue 1 outfit FC Girondins de Bordeaux on a loan deal.
The highly-rated leftback has joined the ligue 1 side from Red Bull Salzburg after a successful medicals.
He has joined Bordeaux on a season-long lone deal with option to make the deal permanent should he impressed at the club.[ads2]
The former Ghana U23 leftback spent last season at Red Bull Salzburg in the Austrian league from Ghana Premier league outfit WAFA SC in 2017.[ads3]
Mensah has previously played loan deals at Liefering FC, Sturm Graz and SV Zulte Waregem.
He has a contract with Red Bull Salzburg until the summer of 2024.[ads5]
