Ghanaian top referee Daniel Laryea has been selected by CAF for the AFCON 2021 in Cameroon next year.
The highly-respected referee has been chosen among the tall list of match officials for the prestigious tournament slated for January 9, 2022 to February 6, 2022.[ads2]
Daniel Laryea is the only Ghanaian referee selected for the AFCON following his vast experience in handling continental matches.
He has been officiating in the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup and considered as one of the best referees in West Africa.[ads3]
The 34-year old has also handled AFCON and FIFA World Cup qualifiers, and last officiated 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier between Cape Verde and Central Africa Republic in Mindelo on 13 November 2021.[ads5]
