A Ghanaian lower tier club Manso Soccer Babies have been involved in a serious accident on Saturday.
Ghanasoccernet is reporting that the young footballers aspiring to be the next big stars for Ghana were packed in a rickshaw ‘aboboyaa’ and were travelling from Kumasi to Atwima Bebu for a league game where the unfortunate incident happened.
Their rickshaw is said to have collided with an oncoming vehicle leading to many injured.
Players and officials of the team, packed in the rickshaw have been rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for immediate medical attention with various degrees of injuries with some serious after the accident occured at Bebu.
Relatives of the young players and worried football fans are trooping to the hospital to ascertain the injuries suffered by the young players who are aspiring to be world class players.
None has been reported dead as at the time of filling this report.
