Ghanaian winger Joseph Paintsil has signed a new contract extension for Belgian Jupiler League outfit KRC Genk.[ads2]
The 24-year old has signed a three-year contract extension for Genk following his magnificent from for the club this season.
His initial deal was supposed to have ended in 2023 which started in 2018 when he joined from Ferencváros but the new three-year contract extension will make him part of the team until 2026.[ads3]
Paintsil has been an integral member of the KRC Genk and currently in a top form, scoring four goals and providing two assists in just eight games.
The former Tema Youth talisman played on loan at Turkish side Ankaragücü and rejoined the side after the expiration of a season long loan deal.[ads4]
He scored twice and provided two assists in 22 games for Genk last season.
Joseph Paintsil who has marked his 100th game for KRC Genk will be hoping to make Ghana squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.[ads5]
