Ghanaian goalkeeper, Fatau Dauda is confident that Ghana can win the 2021 AFCON.
Ghana has not been able to lay hands on the giant trophy for the fifth time after last winning it in Libya in 1892.

The West African country came close to winning the title in 2010, losing the title to Egypt and in 2015 against Ivory Coast on penalties.
But Fatau Dauda who is now the skipper of Legon Cities FC believes Ghana can lift the trophy in the upcoming AFCON tournament.

“Ghana can win next Afcon. I remember we came close in 2015 but we were unlucky, Ivory Coast won it. This time, it is possible that we can win it. Let’s pray and sees what God will do for us”

“As a player, I think if those invited go in with a winning mentality, it’s possible that we can win the trophy” he told Hello FM.
