Ghana FA President Kurt Okraku has made it clear that his administration will not tolerate indiscipline at the Ghana senior male national team, Black Stars
According to the Ghana FA capo, discipline is one of the key ingredient missing in the Black Stars and the GFA will do anything possible to restore it back to the national team.
On how the country can build a competitive Black Stars, Kurt Okraku stated that Ghana needs players who are extremely committed and ready to play for the national team whenever the need arises.

“One of the key ingredient missing in our national team is discipline. The new Ghana FA led by myself will not condone indiscipline at the national team”, Kurt Okraku told Thierry Nyann on TV3.
“Ghana will need players who are extremely dedicated, players who will play for the shirt, players who will be proud of playing for Ghana. Players who will wake up in the morning thinking about the next call-ups”

“Once the players play for the shirt, coaches know what they are doing, I think we will have a total different national team that will transcend through to the other national teams. We want to be very competitive”
“Per what the Management Committee is doing as well as the technical team, I have no doubt that our national team will be back tomorrow where we belong”, he added.

Meanwhile, the Ghana FA has announced that the Black Stars, as part of preparations towards the AFCON, will engage Mali and Qatar in the FIFA International friendlies in Turkey this month.
Already coach CK Akonnor has invited a twenty-three member squad for the two matches with key players like Asamoah Gyan, Kwadwo Asamoah, John Boye, Mubarak Wakaso, Christian Atsu and host of others missing out.
Pyramids FC striker John Antwi Duku , Eugene Ansah of Hapoel Shmonia, Jeffery Schlupp of Crystal Palace, Kamal Deen of FC Nordsjælland and Ajax youngster Mohammed Kudus are included in the squad for the friendlies.
