A Turkey-based Ghanaian trainer, George Payne has expressed keen interest in Sekondi Hasaacas coaching job.
The Hasaacas coaching job has been currently handed over to the club’s former winger and assistant coach Joseph Agyemang Jnr for the next league season.
This was after the departure of head coach Mustapha Fudail who declined to renew his contract after the 2020/21 league season.
George Payne who holds International Coaching Association (ICA) license believes he is ready for the job next season when Joseph Agyemang Jnr contract run out.
“I’m ready for the job, I want it after next season because I know that Joe Agyemang has been given the mantle for the upcoming season. I have enough experience, and I think am capable for the job”, George Payne told Kyfilla.com in an exclusive interview.
The 25-year old obtained his ICA licensing certificate months ago after weeks of residential course.
He is currently working with a Brazilian Soccer School in Istanbul.
Payne played for Sekondi Hasaacas in the 2012/2013 season before traveling abroad.
He traveled to the Republic of Maldives after leaving Sekondi Hasaacas to play for Club Eagles.
