The Ghana Boxing Authority has suspended boxer Patrick Allotey for assaulting a Kotoko fan at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Patrick Allotey was captured in a video, mercilessly punching the face of the Kotoko supporter whose name is Micheal Siaw during the Kotoko clash with Hearts of Oak in week six of the Ghana Premier League in Accra.

The WBO Super Welterweight champion faced the disciplinary committee of the Ghana Boxing Authority on Monday for the hearing of the case.

After deliberations, GBA has suspended the license of Patrick Allotey for six months taking effect on Thursday, February 6, 2020.
