Ghanaian top-flight side, FC Samartex 1996 on March 6, 2023 held a seminar for its players and officials to abreast themselves with the laws governing football.[ads2]
The seminar held at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Samreboi in the Western region was to help the players and technical team to appreciate the changes in the laws of the game.
Retired Ghanaian referee JK Manu took the team through the entire process.[ads3]
According to the club, the objective of the seminar was to enable the playing body and the technical team to come in terms with the laws of the game to guide them in the ongoing league season.
The Timber Boys gained promotion to the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season after winning the zone two of the 2021/22 division one league season.
Even though this is their debut season in the Ghana Premier League, FC Samartex currently sit eight with 29 points after 20 matches, with seven points separating them and league leaders Aduana Stars.[ads4]
