Swiss giant FC Basel are reported to have shown huge interest in Ghana U-20 forward Isahaku Fatawu.
The budding goal poacher has shot to limelight following his spectacular form at the just ended AFCON U-20 tournament in Mauritania where Ghana emerged Champions.[ads2]
According to reports in the local media, FC Basel are willing to offer an amount of $1million for the services of the Steadfast FC youngster who was adjudged the most valuable player in the AFCON U-20 Championship in Mauritania.[ads3]
The Swiss giant are willing to make a payment of $500,000 as an initial payment for the striker before paying a balance of $500,000 when he attains eighteen years.
The reports also divulge that FC Basel will be paying Isahaku Fatawu a monthly salary of $15,000 but will double it when he attains eighteen years.[ads4]
Meanwhile, Isahaku Fatawu has been handed Black Stars call-up ahead of AFCON qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome and Princepe alongside Danlad Ibrahim and Philemon Baffour who were all part of the Ghana U20 squad that won the 2021 AFCON tournament.[ads5]
