Former Asante Kotoko skipper Joseph Hendricks has gotten his first ever coaching job.
Kyfilla.com can exclusively confirm that, the 48-year old has been appointed the head coach of Shama District Football Association’s Under 13 team.

Hendricks is yet to get a coaching certificate but he is expected to capitalized on his new appointment to begin coaching courses.
With his experience as a former footballer, Joseph Hendricks is expected to help nurture talents in the Shama District of the Western Region thus his appointment as the District FA Under 13 team head coach.

Joseph Hendricks played for Asante Kotoko from 1999-2005 after being transferred from Sekondi Wise Fighters in the Western Region.
He was made the skipper of Asante Kotoko few years after he joined the team and led Kotoko to the 2004 CAF Confederation Cup finals where they lost the trophy to bitterest rival Hearts of Oak.

Meanwhile, the Shama District FA have also appointed Emmanuel Kwesi Mensah as their third division coach while Isaac Mensah has been named the head coach of the Under 15 and the Under 17 team of the district.
