Kyfilla.com can exclusively reveal that the 26-year old has agreed a deal with the Ghana Premier League money spenders, pending his release from Medeama.[ads2]
Antwi has been a core figure of the Medeama team since joining in 2017 from Asante Kotoko.
But the former Ghana U-20 goalkeeper is on his way out of the Tarkwa-based after agreeing a deal with Legon Cities who are bolstering the squad for the next league season.[ads3]
According to a deep source, Eric Ofori Antwi will be signing a two-year deal for Legon Cities, with the deal said to be a very lucrative one.
He will be joining Legon Cities FC as a free agent after failing to renew his contract with Medeama Sc despite talks to extend his stay with the two-time FA Cup champions.[ads4]
Antwi was on the radar of numerous clubs including Hearts of Oak and Aduana Stars but Legon Cities have been able to leapfrog the two clubs and could land the signature of the experienced goalkeeper very soon.
