Newly-promoted Ghana Premier league outfit, Real Tamale United (RTU) have signed ace midfielder David Abagna.
The 23-year old has joined the Tamale-based club on a three-year deal after successful medicals, pending official announcement.[ads2]
He has joined RTU from fellow Premier league side AshantiGold Sporting Club.
Following his explosive form last season, Abagna was on the wishlist of numerous clubs including Asante Kotoko who are augmenting squad for the upcoming league season.[ads3]
He was one of the instrumental players for AshantiGold last season, capping 30 matches with 9 goals and 5 assists toppled with 4 man of the match awards.
David Abagna also scored two times for AshantiGold Sporting Club in the FA Cup where the team managed to reach the finals but lost the title to Hearts of Oak on penalty shootouts.[ads5]
