The Chief Executive Officer of Ernest Chemists, Mr. Ernest Bediako Sampong has made a cash donation of Gh¢20,000.00 to Hearts of Oak for winning the Ghana Premier league.
The Phobians have been crowned the champions of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League with one match to go for the season to come to an end.[ads2]
And as an avid supporter and former board member, Mr. Sampong donated the amount to the team for winning the league title – an accolade which has eluded the team since 2009.
The players and the technical team led by coach Samuel Boadu received the money from Mr. Mensah and expressed their gratitude to the astute businessman.[ads3]
Hearts of Oak managed to win the league from the hands of bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko who currently sit second on the league log with a game to go.
This becomes Hearts of Oak 21 league titles since the inception of the league, and are three away from adversary Asante Kotoko who have won it on a record 24 times.[ads5]
