Hearts of Oak are determined to defeat the Moroccans convincingly on Sunday before the reverse fixture in the North African country.
Emmanuel Nettey who is expected to start the match on Sunday has said the playing body are willing to prove a point to the whole of Africa and it will start with Wydad Athletic.
“We are going out there all guns blazing. We know we have been out of the competition for a very long time.[ads3]
“We are back and we want to prove a point not just to WAC but to the whole of Africa that we did not make the progression by fluke,’ he revealed ahead of the match.
Should Hearts of Oak eliminate Wydad Athletic, the team will qualify for the group stage of the competition, a stage they last played in 2005.[ads5]
