Ghana Premier League money spenders, Legon Cities FC have announced the acquisition of ace defender Rashid Mohammed.
The 25-year old centre-back has joined Legon Cities FC on a two-year deal after successful medicals.[ads2]
The club’s statement reads, “We are delighted to announce the signing of Rashid Mohammed (25) from @Txiwonders on a two-year deal.”
Rashid Mohammed won four man of the match awards last season in 31 outings for Eleven Wonders and was adjudged the best central defender.[ads3]
His signing comes as a huge addition to the Legon Cities FC defence who nearly went to relegation last season due to a weak defence.
He is expected to make his debut for Legon Cities FC season opener against Hearts of Oak which commence on October 29, 2021.[ads5]
