Former Premier League giants Ebusua Dwarfs moved to the top of the Zone Two league table with an emphatic 2-0 win over title rivals FC AshantiGold’04 in a fiercely contested clash at the Robert Mensah Stadium.
The game was billed as a clash of the Titans and one of the fiercely contested matches in the Division One League, and a decider for the Zone Two table.
After a goalless first half, Emmanuel Osei opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 54th minute, before Isaac Buckman sealed the victory with a superb finish in the 86th minute.
Ebusua Dwarfs now lead the table with 35 points from 17 matches, while FC AshantiGold’04 slipped to second with 34 points.
