The Procurement and Supply Department of Takoradi Technical University (TTU) has nominated Dr Lord Yamoah as one of its representatives for the upcoming International Men’s Day Exposition, organised by the Centre of Excellence for Gender, Disability and Advocacy (CEGENDA). The event, themed “Navigating the Midlife Crossroads: Strategies for Men to Thrive in the Second Half of Life,” is scheduled for Tuesday, 16th December 2025.
Dr Yamoah, a respected scholar and practitioner in procurement and supply chain management, has built a reputation for academic excellence, professional integrity, and dedicated mentorship. His nomination reflects the Department’s confidence in his ability to engage critically and constructively with the issues to be discussed at the Exposition—particularly those relating to men’s wellbeing, identity, and productivity in midlife.
The International Men’s Day Exposition seeks to deepen conversations around the lived experiences of men, offering a platform for examining the psychological, social, and career-related transitions that often accompany midlife. Participants will explore strategies for personal development, health and wellness, career renewal, and emotional resilience, within the broader context of gender inclusivity and modern workplace demands.
Colleagues within the Procurement and Supply Department of TTU noted that Dr Yamoah’s thoughtful leadership and commitment to staff and student welfare make him an ideal participant for the discourse. His engagement is expected to enrich discussions on how men can approach the second half of life with purpose, balance, and renewed focus.
The Department expressed confidence that Dr Yamoah will represent TTU with distinction and return with valuable insights that can inform departmental and institutional initiatives on wellbeing, staff development, and inclusive academic culture.
As TTU continues to prioritise holistic staff support and gender-responsive programming, the International Men’s Day Exposition stands as a significant opportunity for reflection and shared learning. Dr Yamoah’s participation reaffirms the Department’s dedication to these ideals.
