President of the Ghana Football Association has revealed at the 29th Ordinary Annual Congress that each Division One League club will receive a total incentive package of GH¢80,000 next season.
The annual event which was held at the Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University is a platform for clubs to put before the Congress problems and challenges and try to arrive at a solution.The GFA President’s promise to the Division One Clubs seemingly is the best news their representative have heard.

This is an increase from the GH¢30,000 they received last season.This is in view of reducing the burden that comes with administering the affairs of Division One Clubs in Ghana and ultimately improve upon the quality and standard of the Division One League on and off the pitch.
For Ghana’s second-tier clubs,who have expressed concerns about lack of fundings in recent seasons ,the announcement is a welcome news.
The incentives will include provision of transportation for the clubs as well as football boots.
