The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has made the coronavirus vaccination mandatory for health workers, commercial drivers and some category of persons.
The Health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang-Manu in a press conference on December 1 said this forms part of the safety protocols to help mitigate the spread of the devastating disease.[ads2]
He said it has become necessary for the country to take strict measures to help in the right against the virus.
Aside health workers and commercial drivers, staffs of schools and all staffs of government institutions, commercial drivers, Okada riders, Uber drivers among others have been mentioned as persons required to undertake the compulsory vaccination.[ads5]
