Management of Asempa FM, a subsidiary of the Multimedia Group have ordered the crew of its flagship socio-political show ‘Ekosiisen’ to go under self quarantined.
According to a statement from the Media firm, former President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGHA) Bice Osei Kuffour popularly known as Obour who has lost his father to the Coronavirus pandemic, was hosted on the ‘Ekosiisen’ show on Friday, March 27, 2020.
After the show, Obour took to his Facebook page to announce that his father who visited the United Kingdom and had returned to Ghana has died from the Coronavirus pandemic.
This raised questions that since Obour and his other relative came into contact with their father before his demise, they must be quarantined to further check whether they have been infected with the disease.
Also, because Obour was hosted on the ‘Ekosiisen’ show before announcing the demise of his father in the evening, the entire crew of the show must also be quarantined.
In a statement, the management have ordered the entire crew of the show from the host to the producers to be under self-quarantined .
