The Minister of Foreign Affairs Mrs. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey has confirmed the death of three Ghanaians to the deadly Coronavirus disease in Europe.

Out of the three, two were confirmed dead in Italy whilst the other one was pronounced dead in Denmark.
Since it outbreak in China’s Wuhan Province, the disease has affected 200,000 people across the globe in less than three months.
Out of the 200,000 cases, Ghana has recorded seven with no death though the Ghana Health Service have warned of impending cases.

Recently the Director of Public Health of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Badu Sarkodie indicated that more cases will be recorded in Ghana since the country has no robust health system.
Currently, countries like China, Italy, Iran, Spain, and Germany have suffered the highest number of infections.
