Ashgold Sporting Club defender Kwadwo Amoako says he has missed football badly.
Football activities in Ghana has been suspended due to the Coronavirus outbreak and till now whether the league season will be scrapped or continue remains a misery.
Amoako who was in a top form for Ashgold believes he has missed being on the pitch a lot, though he has been training personally at home.

“In fact every player will missed football. I have missed being on the pitch and playing aggressively for my team [Ashgold]. It becomes badly when am watching football highlights on television. Am praying this Coronavirus period will end and we will return back to the field”, Amoako told Kyfilla.com.
Amoako had his first Black Stars call-up in 2021 AFCON qualifiers against Sudan but the game didn’t come on due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

Asked whether he felt disappointed that he didn’t had the chance to make his Black Stars debut due to the Coronavirus outbreak, Amoako said “I’m not perturbed at all but everything happens for a reason and am only hoping to get the chance again.”
Kwadwo Amoako joined Ashgold Sporting Club in July 2019 from Techiman Eleven Wonders and has rised to become one of the best right-backs in the domestic league.
