Aduana Stars head coach WO Tandoh has apologised for his ‘reckless comments’ he made against Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu.
Coach Tandoh in an interview on Accra based Angel FM, labelled Maxwell Konadu as a villager and a disgrace to Ghana football following what Kotoko did in their game against Aduana Stars on last Wednesday in Dormaa.
After second thought, Coach WO Tandoh has apologised to Maxwell Konadu and all those who were affected with his comments.
Below is coach Tandoh’s apology letter
“Apology Letter
…………………………………
I would be grateful if you could kindly accept my unqualified and unconditional apology in respect of a reckless statement I made ,yesterday , on Angel FM, floodlight show in Accra.
Its an unfortunate ,unpalatable and uncharacteristic of me .As an old soldier and a senior citizen I ought to have known better the meaning of my ethnocentric comments .
I have had a bitter lesson within this period and promise never to find myself in this situation both within and without football.
Thank you.
