CK Akonnor has penned down a two-year deal as the Black Stars head coach, according to Kumasi based Fox FM.
The former Asante Kotoko gaffer, according to Fox FM, signed the deal on Monday after agreeing terms with the Ghana Football Association.

Akonnor has been working without a contract after replacing Kwasi Appiah as the Black Stars head coach in January 2020.
Before assuming the role as the Black Stars head coach, Akonnor was the assistant coach to Kwasi Appiah.

He has been tasked to win the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations as well as qualify Ghana to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, among others
CK Akonnor has previously coached Sekondi Eleven Wise, Hearts of Oak, Ashgold Sporting Club and Asante Kotoko.
