[ads1]Aduana Stars defender, Caleb Amankwah has denied reports that he is in talks with Asante Kotoko for a possible move.
The 22-year old was reported in the local media for reaching the advanced stage of negotiations with Asante Kotoko ahead of the next league season.
[ads2]It was reported earlier that, Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu has held talks with the defender and a deal is set to be finalized.
But speaking on Kumasi-based Wontumi TV/Radio, Caleb Amankwah denied the reportage, stressing that he has not held talks with anyone from Asante Kotoko.
[ads3]”Am currently ready for any club whether Ghana or abroad only if the offer is encouraging. But I have not talked to anyone at Kotoko. I have never talked to coach Konadu [Maxwell] as reported in the media”, Amankwah said.
“I have a contract with Aduana Stars though it’s left with few months but if any club want my service, they should talk to Aduana Stars and my manager and if an agreement is reached then I will move”, he added.
[ads4]Caleb Amankwah joined Aduana Stars on a two-year deal in 2018 from West African Football Academy (WAFA) and has been incredible since joining the team.
