Ghana Premier League giant, Asante Kotoko host ES Setif from Algeria in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup playoff on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors face the Algerian giant at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, February 14, 2021 before the return leg in Setif.[ads2]
After failing to secure a ticket to the group stages of the CAF Champions League, the Ghana Premier League record holders may have to eliminate ES Setif to make it to the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup.
ES Setif on the other hand are determined to handcuff Asante Kotoko by unleashing former WAFA SC talisman Daniel Lomotey on Sunday.[ads3]
The Ghanaian goal poacher Daniel Lomotey who joined ES Setif few days ago from WAFA SC has been included in the team’s squad for the titanic encounter.
Before leaving Ghana for Algeria, Daniel Lomotey was leading the Ghana Premier League topscorers chart with seven goals.[ads4]
His inclusion comes as a huge boost for ES Setif squad considering his experience playing on the Ghanaian soil.
The game will be telecast live on Ceek, GTV Sports Plus and Oyerepa TV according to a flyer released by the Ghana Premier League heavyweight.[ads5]
