President Akufo-Addo has announced date for the return of football in Ghana.
Football activities in the country have been banned since March this year due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

This forced the Ghana FA to cancel the 2019/20 league session after a marathon meeting.
But President Akufo-Addo in his nationwide address today, has announced that football activities can resume on October 30, 2020.

According to President Akufo-Addo, only twenty five percent (25%) of the seating capacity at a match venue can be allowed entry with all safety protocols observed.
President Akufo-Addo in his address said, “Fellow Ghanaians, after consultation with the FA, the GPL and the Division one returns on Friday, Oct 30, 2020.”

This means that both Asante Kotoko and AshantiGold Sporting Club who are preparing for the next season’s CAF inter-club competitions can now resume training.
