The Youth and Sports Ministry have instructed the Ghana Football Association to play the league matches behind closed doors.
This was contained in a release from the Communication Department of the Youth and Sports Ministry headed by Honorable Isaac Kwame Asiamah.

According to the release, the decision is in line with CAF directives for all matches to be played behind closed doors due to the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus in most African countries including Ghana.
This comes as a blow to the Ghana Premier League clubs who are preparing for the upcoming league season set for Saturday, November 14, 2020.

The statement also states that all clubs should conduct a proper Coronavirus test on their players and technical team before the league season commence.
