Ghana Premier League giant, Asante Kotoko have parted ways with head coach Maxwell Konadu with immediate effect.
Coach Maxwell Konadu has been shown the exit doors after painful 1:0 defeat to Great Olympics.[ads2]
A statement from Kotoko reads, “Management of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club wishes to inform the general public that it has decided to part ways with Coach Maxwell Konadu as its Head Coach with immediate effect”
“Coach Johnson Smith has been appointed to lead the team in the interim.”[ads3]

Coach Maxwell Konadu was appointed the head coach of Asante Kotoko in December, 2019 on a two-year deal.[ads4]
His appointment came after the sacking of Norwegian Kjetil Zacharissen.
Maxwell Konadu has been sacked after barely a year with Asante Kotoko.[ads5]
