Ghanaian musicians, Black Sheriff and Gyakie have been billed to perform at the Afro Nation 2023 in Miami, United States of America.[ads2]
The two are the only musicians from Ghana to perform at the event despite the avalanche of talented artistes in the country.
The two-day event labeled as “the world’s biggest Afrobeats festival” will be held at the LoanDepot Park in Miami on May 27 and 28.[ads3]
The event which will be the first American installment of the festival devoted for the Afrobeatz music genre will headlined by two of Nigeria’s finest artistes in Burna Boy and Wizkid.
There will also be performances from Beenie Man, Rema, Ckay, Asake, BNXN, Dadju, Franglish, Nelson Freitas and Nissi.
Others include Major League DJZ , Uncle Waffles, Focalistic, Musa Keys, Vigro Deep and TXC.[ads4]
The Afro Nation festivals made their global debut in 2022 with a series of successful events in Portugal, Ghana, and Puerto Rico. Over 40,000 concertgoers attended the Portugal festival in July, which featured headliners Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Megan Thee Stallion.
They made a stop in Ghana for the festival’s first event in the country since 2019 — the year the festival was founded — to round up the year.[ads5]
