The Black Meteors of Ghana once again were beaten in a friendly against South Korea at the Jeju Stadium on Saturday.
Ghana has failed to pick a win in three matches in the Asian continent with a space of a week, losing the last two games to Japan by 10:0 on aggregate.
It was all Black Meteors this morning but couldn’t hold on to their guard as the South Koreans manged to defeat the West African country by 3:1.
Ghana despite playing all the game were astonished from a well worked corner kick by the Asians, after captain Lee Sangmee beat Frank Assinki in the air to head in the opener in the 17th minute.
The Asian country were reduced to ten men with seven minutes left to first half after Kim Jinya’s dangerous tackle on Samuel Ashie-Quaye.
Ghana could not take advantage of the South Korea’s numerical disadvantage as they conceded again 14 minutes just after returning from the break.
The South Koreans nearly got another goal as Lee Suegmoo from a set piece had his rebound hitting the post.
Cho Guesung then turned brilliantly to elude three defenders before blasting in his side’s third in the 66th minute.
But Black Meteors coach Paa Kwasi Fabin brought on Samuel Obeng Gyabaa and Percious Boah as the game turned in Ghana’s favour and with the Real Oviedo player pulling one back.
Ghana created chances with ten minutes left but the Asians were too good for the Africans.
