Ghana Premier league outfit Berekum Chelsea have announced the transfer of midfielder Ushau Abu to Hearts of Oak.
The 22-year old has joined the Phobians on a four-year deal after fruitful negotiations between the two clubs.[ads2]
A club’s statement reads, “Berekum Chelsea Fc and Hearts Of Oak have agreed the transfer of USHAU ABU. Our club thanks the player for his professionalism and exemplary conduct throughout his two seasons representing our colours, during which time he has won many individaul honors.
“Berekum Chelsea Fc would like to express their gratitude to USHAU ABU and wish him the best of luck in this new stage of his career.”[ads3]
Abu has been deemed as a perfect replacement for Benjamin Afutu who has joined newly promoted Egyptian top-flight side Eastern Tobacco FC.
Ushau Abu was spectacular for Berekum Chelsea last season, capping over 30 matches in all competitions.[ads5]
