Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, Benjamin Asare has admitted to Accra Hearts of Oak struggles in the Ghana Premiere League this season.
The former continental masters has become a shadow of themselves this season as they have failed to live up to expectations. Their fans are indeed wanted to have the silverware.
Asare urged the fans to continue to believe and cheer them up. He promised that, the club will make sure to set things right next season.
In an interview with Graphic Sports, the goalie reiterated his displeasure saying,
“We admit things didn’t go as we wanted, but we urge the fans to have faith in us. Next season, we will work hard to ensure the team improves.”
On the right note, Accra Hearts of Oak need to finish in the top four if possible.
