Midfielder, Benjamin Afutu, has donated to the Osu Children’s Home in Accra on Friday, August 27, 2021.
The donation forms part of the defensive midfielder’s token in giving back to society after a stellar form for Hearts of Oak in the just ended league season.[ads2]
Afutu donated packs of drinking water, soft drinks, cooking oils, toiletries, detergents among others and an undisclosed amount.
The former Karela United defender is currently negotiating with Hearts of Oak to sign a new contract after ending the previous deal.[ads3]
He was one of the best players for Hearts of Oak in the just ended league season, helping the team to win the Ghana Premier league and the FA Cup.
He is expected to sign a new contract for the Phobians as they prepare for the 2021/2022 CAF Champions League campaign.
Benjamin Afutu has been nominated for the Ghana Premier League player of the season, battling with Gladson Awako, Augustine Boakye, Salifu Ibrahim and Diawisie Taylor.[ads5]
