Tanzania Premier League powerhouse, Azam FC have reportedly joined the race to sign in-form Bechem United attacker Augustine Okrah.
Okrah, 28, is said to have attracted offers from tops clubs in the continent after explosive performance in the just ended Ghana Premier League.
Reports say, Azam FC have deemed Augustine Okrah as a perfect attacker to strengthen their attack for the next season campaign.
He was recently handed a call-up to the Black Stars by coach Otto Addo for the 2023 AFCON qualifiers against Madagascar and Central African Republic due to his incredible performance in the Ghana Premier League.
It is believed that another top Tanzanian club in the shape of Simba Sports Club are also in quest to land the signature of Augustine Okrah who is also being courted by some South African clubs.
Okrah netted fourteen goals for Bechem United in the just ended league season and was the third highest topscorer after Yaw Annor of AshantiGold SC and Asante Kotoko’s Franck Mbella Etouga.
He has formerly played for Asante Kotoko, Liberty Professionals, Bechem United, BK Hacken, Al-Merrikh, Al-Hilal Club and NorthEast United in India.
