According to Oyerepa FM, the Normalization Committee instituted by FIFA to bring Ghana football to normalcy after the Anas expose, has proposed a reduction of the number of delegates for Ghana Football Association Congress from 123 to 94 in the new Statutes to govern the association. Meanwhile, Kyfilla.com understands, the date for the next Ghana Football Association Congress which will pave way for the 2019/20 league season is yet to be announced.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has increased the women’s AFCON to twelve teams. The tournament was initially participated by eight teams in every two years.
