The 26-year old penned down a three-year deal for the Cairo based club after a successful medicals. Before his move to Pyramids FC, John Antwi was on loan at Misr Lel-Makkasa from Al Ahly SC but the deal was later made permanent. The staff of the Western Regional Sports Authority on Friday, July 26, 2019 engaged in a massive clean-up exercise within and outside the Sekondi Sports Stadium. Over fifty staff members of the Directorate overwhelmingly took part in the clean-up exercise. The exercise led by Mr Joseph Alabi Bortey, Ag. Regional Sports Director, was concentrated on painting the walls, mobbing the hooks and cranes of the stadium especially, conference rooms, weeding the surroundings, fixing of broken pipes and scrubbing the washrooms.
