Ghana Premier League giant Asante Kotoko are inches away from signing a sponsorship deal with Asanko Gold Mine, Kyfilla.com has learnt. According to report making rounds in the local media, both parties have reached an advanced stage of negotiations and a deal could be soon be made public. Asanko Gold Mine is located in Ghana and is a joint venture with Gold Fields Limited. They have a 45% economic interest in the mine, with the Ghana government holding the remaining 10%. Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko already have Strike, MTN, Hollard Insurance, Paradise Pac and Royce Energy Drink as sponsors.

According to report, the towering centre-back has joined the Porcupines on a three-year deal after fruitful negotiations.
