The Director-General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Professor Peter Twumasi has filed a defamation lawsuit against two staff of the authority, seeking Gh¢4million in damages. The defendants are Kwame Baah Mensah and Edmond Appiah who are all staff of the authority. President Akufo-Addo has authorized Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta to commence formal engagements with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), inviting the Fund to support an economic program put together by the government of Ghana.
