The Western Regional Basketball Association have set September 16 as the date for the commencement of the Takoradi Basketball League. Takoradi Basketball League has been in discussion for a while since the new administration of the WBA took charge some two years ago. The office of the new administration has been contemplating on the starting date of the league, facing some challenges as to when to start the league. Dormaa based Aduana Stars have halted training for one month following the side’s inability to advance to the knockout stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
