Defender, James Sowernu has officially joined FC Samartex 1996 on a three year deal from Hearts of Oak following an impressive loan spell in the 2022/23 betPawa Premier League. Sowernu played the 2022/23 season on loan for FC Samartex 1996 and the deal is now permanent after completing all formalities on Wednesday August 9, 2023. The two top flight sides have completed formalities and signed all documents as revealed by Mohammed Shaban, the Ghana Football Association’s Statistician.
