Hearts of Oak defender William Dankyi has announced his departure from the club after four years. The 22-year old left-back joined Hearts of Oak in 2018 from Liberty Professionals and became an integral member of the club. An assistant referee has been physically assaulted in Western Region Football Association super middle league game in Bekwai. Reports say the referee, identified as Emmanuel Allu Tebson was beaten during Bekwaiman and Villa Afrique game at the Bekwai School Park on Wednesday afternoon.
