The Competitions Department of the Ghana Football Association has approved Accra Great Olympics FC’s request to move their home matches to their alternative match venue in Sogakope, for the remainder of the season. This decision was taken on Monday, April 17, 2023, after a careful review of the reasons stated by the club. The Accra Sports Stadium and the WAFA park were approved by the Club Licensing Committee of the GFA for Accra Great Olympics FC as main and alternative venues respectively at the start of the season. The Ghana Education Service (GES) has interdicted the headmaster of Fijai Senior High School, Kenneth Agbomadze with immediate effect. According to a statement from GES, Mr Agbomadze has been interdicted to pave way for further investigation into alleged collection of illegal fees in the school. The Busua Beach Resort in the Western Region has been disconnected from the National Grid after failing to pay the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) a debt of Gh¢1.135,000. This was confirmed by the Western Region Public Relations Officer of ECG, Benjamin Quarcoe in an interview on Skyy Power FM in Takoradi. This forms part of the ECG nationwide debt collection exercise in a bid to mobilise revenue.
