A Lagos Magistrates’Court has remanded a lecturer at the Lagos State University of Technology in the custody of Kirikiri Correctional Centre for allegedly defiling his 10-year-old daughter.[ads2] The lecturer was alleged to have been having carnal knowledge of the minor since 2018. The Government has commenced the roll out of the National Rental Assistance Scheme (NRAS) intended to support deserving households to access decent rental accommodation and to effectively protect them from exploitation and burdensome rent advance payments.
