The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation(GNPC) Foundation has ended the three days blood donation exercise which was aimed to support the Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital Blood Bank. The three days program which began on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at the Takoradi Technical University where 155 units/pints of blood was recorded after the exercise was today, Friday, June 16, 2023 crowned with a durbar at the Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital. A motor rider has met his untimely death after he was hit by a pickup vehicle belonging to the Societe General bank at Mpintsin in the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolis of the Western Region of Ghana. The entire team made the trip to the office premise of the multiple open-pit operation located 10KM south of Tarkwa, and 70KM off Takoradi. Medeama SC secured the BetPawa Premier League following a resounding 3-0 final day victory against Tamale City FC at the Akoon Park on June 11, 2023.
